Oglefamily: Outdoors
http://oglefamily.blogspot.com/2012/10/outdoors.html
October 21, 2012. Quite a few flowers will show up in the spring and summer. The dogwood is always spectacular. There are two raised beds in the fenced-in backyard. One of wood, with fence posts and sturdy wire for climbing things,. And one made of manor stones. Both have been obsessively 100% organic since they were built. In addition to bulbs and flowering shrubs, there are three different clumps of shasta daisies. Sunday, October 21, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It Seams That Way To Me.

http://oglefamily.blogspot.com/2012/10/bonus-room-2.html
October 21, 2012. This is another huge room, just like the living room and Bedroom #4, directly above it. That white door on the left conceals a built-in entertainment center, complete with plugs and such. The door to the right leads to the walk-in closet. Although this area was finished much later than the rest of the house, the built-in theme continues with another dresser. Large closet with high shelf for storage. Sunday, October 21, 2012. September 28, 2012. Day 7: The Itchy and Scratchy Show. I told Matt he should have enjoyed the time when I was a little depressed, because now? Now I am ON FIRE. And a Ginger on fire is a scary thing to behold; imagine how much worse one is to live with. Because it all must be done. It must be done NOW. And resting is for wusses. Right? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! Etc (former students are twitching now in remembrance, you can be sure.). I'm trying to help them with a healthy keep/share with others/recycle/trash.

Oglefamily: Ground Floor Bath
http://oglefamily.blogspot.com/2012/10/ground-floor-bath.html
October 19, 2012. This room has the original (metal! Tiles on the walls, a shower/tub combo (the tub is porcelain, and probably original, too. It is fabulous for baths, since it holds heat and is nice and long), and- my most favorite in a multi-story house- a laundry chute so you can chuck your clothes down to the utility area. Oglefamily: January 2011
http://oglefamily.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
January 6, 2011. Emily pointed out to us today, Laura and me, the daisies as we walked to school. “Daisies? 8221; I said. “Where? 8221; pointed Emily. And sure enough, there was a patch of wide parking strip with actual daisies, actually blooming; I counted about five flowers the next time we walked by. It’s a nice reminder of two separate things: winter is not forever, and children see things we don’t, if only because they are closer to the ground. :-). Many, many leaves were crunched. One of the houses...

Oglefamily: Upstairs to Bedroom #3
http://oglefamily.blogspot.com/2012/10/upstairs-to-bedroom-3.html
October 20, 2012. Upstairs to Bedroom #3. The window off the landing looks North. The landing has two big built-in storage cabinets. To give you an idea of how big they are, we kept our extensive collection of board games and puzzles in one, and all our wedding crystal and seasonal dishware stuff in the other. (Extremely well-planned storage built-ins are a recurring theme of the house; someone thought things through and made a big space even bigger.). Here is bedroom #3. The dresser is built-in for you!
