Small town life of a preacher, a teacher and two babies. Monday, April 27, 2009. We love when people come to visit us! It's always a special treat to have someone we love spend a few days in our home and "do life" with us for awhile. And that happened for us this weekend; Tyler Crosson ventured from NOLA to stay with us, and the anticipation and excitement leading up to his arrival did not disappoint! Thanks for coming to visit, Tyler! You made our weekend! Monday, April 20, 2009. Saturday, April 18, 2009.

Just South of Canaan: April 2011

Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Monday, April 11, 2011. All things come in cycles. Especially the seasons. First, you have winter. It's cold and dreary. You're probably sick at some point even though you got the flu shot and have been eating vitamin C like candy. Every once and again, you get a good snow day, which a lot of people love - but I hate ( hate the snow, love the snow day. Finally, we have fall, or, as some of you more erudite reader...

Small town life of a preacher, a teacher and two babies. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. There are so many things wrong with this picture, I'm not really even sure where to start. But one thing is clear: cell phone usage is going to be an uphill battle with this young lady. And we're starting waaay too early! Just for the record, Betsy is not. Also, I do apologize for the quality of the photo. I love my EnV3 phone, but it doesn't always make for the best camera.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Just South of Canaan. Musings from the journey of a guy who is learning how to get it right. Saturday, June 23, 2012. On Staying in a Hostel. That being said, last weekend, I had to stay in a hostel. I say had to, but that isn’t entirely true. I had other options, but I came on this trip to be independent, so despite the fact that I was somewhat of a nervous wreck about it, I took the plunge and booked a hostel. Cleanliness is not next to godliness. When traveling, it’s best not to be too picky. While I ...
