Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Running Their Hearts Out and Emptying Your Wallets (all for a good cause). Avery and McClaine ran in their school Jog-A-Thon last week and it was awesome. I was so proud of them for their fund raising efforts, their desire to give back to the school that has been such a blessing to them and their endurance as they ran the race set before them. They had each set goals of how many laps to run-. Avery ended up running 44 laps and McClaine ran 42 laps! April 20, 2011 at 10:21 AM.

Mom called the other day, in disbelief that another snowstorm hit the mountains of the Vail Valley, she would work from home again. I walked down the stairs and peered through the window, early morning light on trees looked to be crowned with snow themselves. It’s rare for it to snow this late in Texas. Ah… glorious spring in East Texas! Tall pine trees adorned with Wisteria, clusters of beauty!
