Ramblings of a Tired Mom: Education and misinformation
http://atiredmomrambles.blogspot.com/2010/02/education-and-misinformation.html
Ramblings of a Tired Mom. Assorted musings from a brain that's overloaded. Thursday, February 4, 2010. There's been quite a bit of chatter in the diabetes community during the last couple of days regarding today's Oprah show devoted to "America's Silent Killer", diabetes. Many were very hopeful that she and Dr. Oz would share helpful, correct information that differentiated between Types 1, 2, MODY, gestational.since there isn't just ONE type of diabetes. http://atiredmomrambles.blogspot.com/2010/01/back-to-school.html
Ramblings of a Tired Mom. Assorted musings from a brain that's overloaded. Sunday, January 3, 2010. It's hard to believe that Winter Break is already ending.two weeks flew right past. I am amazed at how much I thought I would get done, and how much *actually* got done. Funnily enough, the two don't quite match. I'm sorry to say that for some friends, break wasn't so wonderful - Kelly'. S dad has had surgery, as has Shamae. I will be keeping them both in my prayers. January 3, 2010 at 5:47 PM. View my com...

http://onedadandhisblog.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
One Dad And His Blog. Thursday, October 28, 2010. Pumpkin and ginger scones. If you like food as much as I do, then this time of year is a great chance to give your taste buds a workout. So many seasonal items are in abundance right now and none more so than the grandmaster of them all, the pumpkin! So here's the recipe adapted from Food.com,. 2 cups all purpose flour. 1 tablespoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. 1/2 cup canned pumpkin.

One Dad and His Blog: Achoooo.....
http://onedadandhisblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/achoooo.html
One Dad And His Blog. Sunday, March 6, 2011. This weekend was a busy one and It just had to be the one where I felt like I had been run over by a truck. On Saturday we had a garage sale along with two of our neighbours and we had a lot of people stop by. Our friend, Chris McClain also came over to see if she could sell some of her large stash of kids clothes. A Thai curry needs these two things and plenty of them in my opinion. Sell It, they will come. Thank goodness for the tents, It got really hot.

One Dad And His Blog. Sunday, March 13, 2011. Saturday was Quinn's first birthday! I can't believe a year has passed already. In the last few months he has started to crawl, point, babble and now he's actually walking. Wherever we go he's always grabbing the limelight and laps up the attention given to him by people everywhere. His party had an outer space theme and Maura used Paper and Cake. The frosting is definitely a keeper and was sweet but not sore on the teeth and most importantly held up well and...

T1D JillyBean: February 2010
http://t1djillybean.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. When we were diagnoised everyone told us it would become normal. At the time that felt impossible. How could anything be normal again? But we have awsome days. For my birthday we did Seattle's Ride the Ducks. And had such a fantastic time. We quacked our duckie whistles and saw the Sleepless in Seattle house. Bean can do all her own shots. And the best news? We start pump training on March 1st. Labels: Living with D. Monday, February 15, 2010. High - high - WTH? View my complet...

T1D JillyBean: July 2010
http://t1djillybean.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Yay for Camp Sealth! I've been really bad at blogging as I've been suffering from burn out. Diabetes is hard. And I’m so proud of Bean. She was very compliant and bloused for everything she ate. Some of the other D kids didn’t understand the consequences of sneaking food - which is a normal part of growing up with D. And I’m proud of her for her management. The boat to camp. Labels: Living with D. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am not a doctor and am in no way qualified to give m...
