April 2, 2016. April 2, 2016. It’s really disappointing to fail. They say it’s better than to not try at all, but–. I don’t really know if this is true. Failing stinks no matter how you try and sweeten the stink that is reality downsed down your throat. I tried so hard. I tried so hard to be good at what I do. Choosing a major career move. August 14, 2016. I’ve been working in the social work field for about four years now. I have grown so much but also lost a piece of myself in my struggle to stay whole in an overworked, underpaid, and often under-trained field. I have loved food and nutrition; I have turned and cast away from nutrition. I have used food as a tool of joy and gained some pounds along the way. I have reminded others to exercise but neglected my own need to do this, regrettably.
