Thoughts from an Overthinker: April 2013
http://thoughtsfromanoverthinker.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thoughts from an Overthinker. I never know what I think about something until I read what I've written on it. William Faulkner. Thursday, April 25, 2013. I leaned back in the chair in the lobby wondering what to do when you lose your parking ticket. I focused on the small group of people huddled in the corner of the lobby. They were all crying and hugging and saying things like, "I knew she'd pull through" and "She's so strong! And "Prayer really does work! I wasn't ready to be with my sweet people yet&#...

Thoughts from an Overthinker. I never know what I think about something until I read what I've written on it. William Faulkner. Sunday, September 8, 2013. My Story, Part One. As soon as I heard him say, "Write your story." my brain clicked into writing mode. I forced myself to listen to the rest of the sermon, but part of my brain kept insisting on going back to a time so long ago. Tears formed behind my eyes and I literally threatened them to spill. I was desperate. Not to embarrass my daughter. I was e...

Thoughts from an Overthinker. I never know what I think about something until I read what I've written on it. William Faulkner. Friday, March 22, 2013. Out of the hotel onto the sidewalk. The first thing I noticed was the blustery wind that whipped around me. I was glad we had brought warm clothes. I sighed deeply and looked behind me to make sure the kids were out of the way. A Miscellany: May 2015

Logic, a spice rack, and some other things. Sunday, May 24, 2015. Hexadecimal Digits AND Ligatures! A few years ago, I posted a set of hexadecimal digits that I invented that could serve as an alternative to the customary 0-9 and A-F. My idea was to make a set of digits that could be represented in the standard numeric LCD display where the digit somehow represented a binary version of the number it represents. See here. Like me, who looks at hex dumps. Sunday, May 03, 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
