30 Things I Should Do: September 2010
http://my30things.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
30 Things I Should Do. Maybe I should get on this. Monday, September 6, 2010. How I Spent My Summer Vacation Parts 3-5. Ok, so it's Labor Day, which means that summer vacation is officially over tomorrow, and I figure I should wrap this up so I can start something new. This is the actual Lake Placid. It's beautiful and clear and COLD. The mountain in the background is called Whiteface. Did I make all sorts of racist mountain jokes about that? Yes Yes I did. And finally, on this, my 5th (ish? Trip to NYC,...

30 Things I Should Do: July 2010
http://my30things.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
30 Things I Should Do. Maybe I should get on this. Sunday, July 25, 2010. Ok, so I have SO MANY better things to blog about, including PICTURES! But for now, I simply have to say that I'm having my best summer ever. Europe pictures and stories coming, but first, I must head to Lake Placid for week for outdoor fun and laziness, and a possible run to Canada just because I can. Wine my backyard my fabulous friends = my life does not suck. Plane tickets never hurt the equation, nor does family. 19 Read one b...

30 Things I Should Do: February 2010
http://my30things.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
30 Things I Should Do. Maybe I should get on this. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Ask me what I did yesterday- go ahead, ask me. I signed up to do a sprint triathlon with Team in Training. I'm scared. Expect to be hit up for money and to hear stories of my ineptitude in swimming competitively soon! SOTD: Lay It Down. Also, I sort of want to have a party now where everyone wears masks of other people. It makes me laugh. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. 1 Start a blog. (DONE! 21 Skinny dip...

30 Things I Should Do: April 2010
http://my30things.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
30 Things I Should Do. Maybe I should get on this. Thursday, April 29, 2010. So, I just got home from my first interwebby date-y type thing, and you know what? Keeping your expectations low is hard when your standards are high. All I'm saying is that I'm giving it a solid "we'll see" but I'm insisting that he has to be the one to contact me. I initiated this evening, and the conversation was great. But did I want to smooch him? The jury is out. Am I less of an independent woman with that theory? I can't ...

Out Any Window: I am procrastinating
http://outanywindow.blogspot.com/2010/02/i-am-procrastinating.html
Monday, February 15, 2010. I am procrastinating. A lack of meetings makes getting down to revisions tough. Saw that my last blog post was after my second guitar lesson. Well, at least guitar is making better progress than blogging. Tonight is probably marking about six months worth of lessons. Working on "She talks to Angels" and "Melissa". Also, moved again - two weeks ago actually. This time to glorious Kalamazoo. So far, better than Battle Creek (a low bar). Had another book idea.

Tri-alethlete: October 2011
http://drewsroadtoironman.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. Occasionally a coworker will bring a treat to the office to share with everyone, donuts or cookies or something, which positively makes my day. Nothing is better than finding a platter of deliciousness or a box of yummy goodness out on the counter in our company kitchen, but I hate, hate, HATE IT when someone just breaks a piece of something off without taking the whole thing. I mean, really? Thus endeth the rant for today, sorry it was sort of an angry one. A few evenings ago A...

Thursday, June 23, 2011. Where Have You Been? So normally this is about the time of year when my triathlon season would be starting to heat up, yet I'm sure you've noticed that the blog has been oddly quiet. You're probably wondering about the lack of activity, asking yourself where are are all the posts about training, racing, brewing, and the other goings-on in my life, and I figured I owe you a quick explanation. So why am I taking this season off? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Where Have You Been?

Tri-alethlete: March 2012
http://drewsroadtoironman.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. Today is Saturday, ergo I went to sparring and got my face punched in yet again. I've pretty much learned to accept that my nose is going to bleed at some point between 1-2pm on Saturdays. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Baby Reveal: Boy or Girl? So you can expect more regular updates. Somewhere out there in Cyberland the two people who read this blog just fell to their knees weeping tears of joy. Ali was initially in the want-to-wait camp when we started discussing this early on, bu...

Monday, May 7, 2012. Pizza Hut Hates You. If any of you have ever wondered why the rest of the world hates America so much, I think we've found the answer. Following up on my recent post detailing Pizza Hut's nefarious plans to piss all over the people of England and tell them it's raining ( click here if you think you can stomach it. They have now apparently launched a gastronomic jihad against the Middle East. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the Crown Crust Pizza:. Not that we don't have our own...

Tri-alethlete: Off the Grid
http://drewsroadtoironman.blogspot.com/2012/06/off-grid.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. Today Ali and I went to a graduation party for Ali's cousin, Sarah. It was a great time, we had an absolute blast hanging out with friends and family. The only downer is that my cell phone didn't survive the occasion. I looked at the screen and saw the words "WIPING" with a progress bar marching steadily towards 100%. When it reached completion, the phone shut down, then re-booted, at which point it was completely, totally, utterly fried. No phone service, no email, no wi...
