I’ll never forget when an elder at my church approached me after a talk I gave. This happened about 29 years ago. It was a talk filled with a ton of tears. The elder’s name was Rollie, about 65 years old at the time. He looked me and said, “Son, never despise your tears. In public. But I won’t despise them. I am not ashamed.
