Tales of our family. October 17, 2011. 1st day of school. Elijah and Gracee started a brand new charter school this year. Uniforms and all (and pink is not a color option.) Gracee is not so thrilled about the uniforms but she is surviving. Elijah's teacher is Mrs. Stewart. Gracee has Mrs. Ables. Emmalee goes to school pretty early and I forgot to take a picture before she left. She had a headache by the time she got home. Gracee was pretty jealous of her 1st day outfit! Gracee and Elijah loved it!

Tales of our family. December 31, 2013. What Happened in 2013? Or, we didn't do Christmas Cards again. Clara is a handful. She's smart. She's funny. She's bossy. Walking came to her pretty quickly, right around her first birthday. She likes to draw and color on anything she can find. Traveling in the van is not her idea of a good time. And Katy Perry's "Roar". Elizabeth is excited to graduate from Nursery to the Sunbeam Primary class at church. Lizzie loving the snow. Isaiah Digging 1st Grade.

Tales of our family. October 5, 2010. We really do. But it seems when you have five kids, that it is difficult to get everyone to look the same place at the same time with pleasant expressions and eyes open. Thanks to our wonderful friend Sarah who was very patient with our fussiness, grumpiness, lack of smiling, crooked heads, awkward smiles, and closed eyes (I think Isaiah did all of the above)! Tales of our family. April 11, 2011. The girls got a great game at Activity Days that asks all kinds of questions about yourself. We have enjoyed playing and getting to know each other better. I decided that it would be nice to interview each kid today and record their answers. I also added a few recent pictures. They are numbered by birth order and not by their place in my heart. ;). Favorite Foods: Pizza and Hot Dogs. Favorite Dessert: Vanilla Ice Cream. Favorite Sports: Football, Soccer, and Baseball.

Thursday, October 22, 2009. I've temporarily given up on blogging Alaska. We've been doing so many things (although I'm not sure how because it seems we've been cooped up so much lately due to sicknesses) that I'd better try to catch and keep up on those (and move on from the graphic bear photos=) and get Alaska later. So, through the virtual academy we're involved in, the kids are able to attend field trips most every Friday. We LOVE it! We pet llamas,. And got to hold kittens. And Calvin LOVED the dirt.
