Our small town life in big sky country. High elevation candy stores. I don't have much of a bucket list, but if I did, the Beartooth Highway would be on it. A couple weeks ago we decided to finally see what the fuss is about. We started our morning with a quick soak in the Boiling River. We've been to Yellowstone plenty of times but that was our first time stopping by the Boiling River. The water temperature was perfect and the boys keep asking when we'll go back. Bison herds on the way to Cooke City.

Berries a big sky. Story time on the porch. He lets me talk him into going on loooong walks. Bike ride and park session before bedtime. Cuddle time with my fellow introvert. I had the house to myself.& I slept with the lights on. Visiting a local farm to work on our foraging skills. It's almost huckleberry season! River rats on a Monday afternoon. Summer superhero program at the library. Mason learned how to draw his own superhero. Presley babysat. He sent me this after waking Arlo up from a nap.

Our December : Part I. Post-nap. Happy boy. Helping me feed chickens and restock firewood. Arlo was a little nervous but now he says "Santa" whenever he sees him. Hayride around Livingston. I love the Holiday Stroll. Afternoon walk by the river. Christmas card photo test run. We were looking at 3 different cameras. Checking out the river outside of the doctor's office. Gas station treats tourists. Last Saturday we hopped in the car and ended up at the north entrance of YNP. 4pm seemed like a good time as any to visit. ;) Fortunately we live as close as we do! Monday, November 19, 2012. After meeting my goal of running a 5k and 10k and a triathlon I decided to start training for a 1/2 marathon. September 1st in Lake Forrest. It was hard. Which is funny because I had run 12.1 miles on my regular route with no difficulty. Here are my theories, I run a very flat route and at the time a 10 minute pace. My goal was 2hour 5 min.
