I specifically liked the slicing, but not sure I want to try that with graphics for my first web site. In addition, I will probably use tables for my website to position graphics and text versus frames or Cascading Style Sheets. I'm definitely not ready for Flash. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://thoughtsbylisa-lisa.blogspot.com/2010/05/comparing-frontpage-and-webnode.html
Thursday, May 20, 2010. Comparing Frontpage and Webnode. I started my website project on Frontpage. And used one of the templates because I liked the layout, color, and it matched my storyboard. Frontpage. Gave me the ability to follow my storyboard to the "T", it looked exactly how envisioned it. The ability to put my pictures and text anywhere I wanted was great. I liked the ability of using tables to align text and graphics. I felt that Frontpage. Because I'm a beginner, I think my Webnode website loo...

Thoughts by Lisa: Storyboarding
http://thoughtsbylisa-lisa.blogspot.com/2010/05/storyboarding.html
Monday, May 17, 2010. First my website was going to be about family recipes, but I changed my mind. I decided to design a website called "Pomeranian Pointers". Pomeranian Pointers is about the history, characteristics, training and grooming your Pomeranian dog. In addition, on each of the pages except the home page and characteristics pages, I added what worked for me as a Pomeranian owner. I choose to design a website about Pomeranian's. For my website. I will be using Microsoft Frontpage.

Thursday, April 29, 2010. Good and Bad Design. The examples of bad websites are really funny, especially the websites that just have words that just go across the page. It is not even interesting and would leave the website immediately. The designer is obviously not using CRAP. I really like the examples of bad websites illustrated in the book, because it will be an easy guide when I go to create my website. The good designs of course are really good!
