Tywardreath and Par is a parish on the south coast of Cornwall between Fowey and St Austell. The population is just over 3000, and the main settlements are Tywardreath village and Par village. The southern side of the parish runs along Par beach and the nature reserve. Much of the parish is farmland and woodland with the ruins of abandoned industrial mining, and is bisected by the Plymouth - Penzance railway line.
