I Had the Write Idea. My journey towards publication. 100 Books in Five Years. All About the (Tango) Shoes. November 4, 2013. Of NaNoWriMo: Pantsing vs. Plotting. This year, I finally acknowledged I operate better with a map and a firm guide on where I’m going. Like a plot. Now the only thing I need to worry about is getting lost in Richmond. But I’m pretty sure if I turn the map right way up, I’ll be able to find my way out of there. Posted in Ass In Chair. Laquo; Um… Waves Hello. By: Anthony Lee Collins.

I Had the Write Idea. My journey towards publication. 100 Books in Five Years. All About the (Tango) Shoes. And here is the writing I said I’d offer up:. I told myself, the ever-deriding voice inside my head stern and edged with anger. The voice sounding way to much like my master taunted me, telling me I was a fool to think I could run a club catering to humans. Come, Tavi. I need you. Nikolai reached out a hand, but I turned away. Let’s go. Stop playing with the mortal. One eye on Nikolai, Simone rinse...

Stuff worth reading – Kristan Hoffman

Monday, July 13, 2015. 8220;On how to live life ‘on fire with the same force that made the stars'”. By my friend Rose. Every day I recalibrate and try to do better at living with bravery and pushing what I thought were my limits, but I also remember to be kind to myself. We limit ourselves all the time. We create boxes, we set boundaries, and write ourselves into corners because we are terrified that if we approach something greater, that we will fail. What if, instead, we imagined immensities? This nigh...

I Had the Write Idea. My journey towards publication. 100 Books in Five Years. All About the (Tango) Shoes. I miss the writing fury of NaNoWriMo. Knowing every day that I had to produce a certain word count (or call myself a failure) motivated me to write every single day. Post NaNo–not so much. So I’m going to try providing a daily writing prompt such as a photo or phrase and try to produce something. Ooh, the potential for failure. Limitless. On September 2, 2010. On September 4, 2010. I was talking wi...

The Ninth Gate | Holdingdarkness's Blog
https://holdingdarkness.wordpress.com/2009/10/19/the-ninth-gate
Just another WordPress.com weblog. I have watched The Ninth Gate. Twice, and I was in very different places during both viewings. Suffice it to say, I was a bit bored during the first viewing, mostly because I expected things to speed up. Growing up on more drama-filled horror, the quiet unease that best describes this movie (the same unease Polanski brought to Rosemary’s Baby. But in The Omen. You don’t root for the devil. The Girl is more than just alluring she is unassuming, amused and amusing. I used...

April 12, 2015 · 12:54 pm. A few months ago, I promised I wasn’t going to disappear from the blogosphere. Well. Technically, I haven’t. In that I’m posting. That counts, right? Life is way busier this year than expected, and I’ve had a few ups and downs that I won’t go into now. But rest assured that I’m still alive, still writing, still parenting, and still being my generally awesome self. Oh, and still writing my newsletter. (Did you sign up. I just… can’t… get airborne…. 5 Writing for Writer Unboxed.

Tag Archives: mailing list. January 4, 2015 · 2:00 pm. 2015: Sign me up, Scotty! About this time every year, I sit down and write a blog post detailing my goals for the year. This year, I’m going to break from tradition and not do that. Why? Because my overall theme of 2015 can be summed up in three simple words:. Look, I’m getting all grown-up-ified.). My first post went live today. Click here. And have a read. I talk about ants, naked druids, and flash fiction. And then I roll out a year-long F...But w...
