Sunday, March 27, 2011. Spring: Season of Parties and Tutus. Hey Everyone, Apparently spring is all about parties, or at least it is with the Scharpenbergs. Where to begin . . . Well, Mom started with making a cake for one of Aunt NayNay's. The whole things was from scratch. Dad thought it weighed about 40 pounds, serving over 35 people. The base underneath was a big cake, and then the popcorn box was a smaller cake, decorated with fondant and other good stuff. Then we went down to Portland to see Gramma.

Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Honestly Folks, this summer is flying. I can't remember when anything has happened, but its all been good. It was about a month ago that we were in Sunriver. And its high time to get these pictures on the blog. We started the trip out pretty quickly. We got into Sunriver. Parked the car, and got ready for the kids racing event. I was #480. Everything was low key until we started racing. Finally, after too many months, I got to see my cousins. And Mom got a chance to catch up too.

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Man, is it time for XMAS again? It's only been a couple of weeks, but it was so much fun! We should have XMAS at least once every 2 months. This year, we traveled to Oma. The week before XMAS and had a great time. Oma. Was playing with Finley and me all the time. They were always making funny faces at each other. Finley and I managed a couple cleaning sessions while in Chicago. These were the sacred pools of kitchen- landia. Finley was working on her "water catching" skills.
