The Holmes Legacy: Where Do I Begin?
http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2010/07/where-do-i-begin.html
Saturday, July 17, 2010. Where Do I Begin? Well, needless to say, it's been awhile since I have updated this blog so I'm going to try to do the best I can to bring everyone up to date on things. I should probably start at the beginning and mention that Chance was recognized in March as a Rising Star for his outstanding work on his architecture model. He modeled the World Trade Center Twin Towers which was no surprise to those of us who know his infatuation with 9/11 and everything about it. She's our pea...

http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2009/12/chance-turns-12.html
Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Chance turned 12 the day after Christmas. We had a little family party. Chance had his choice of supper - he chose Taco Bell. Then, we came home, opened presents and enjoyed a Dairy Queen Reeses Cup Blizzard cake (yum! Posted by Holmes Home. Did he pass the sacrament today? Sorry we keep missing each other on facebook. I am totally sad about that! Hang in there. We love you. January 3, 2010 at 6:44 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Holmes Legacy: March 2009
http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Savannah lost another tooth last night. She is such a trooper. Once her tooth gets so loose she just can't stand it, she goes to her Dad and lets him pull it out. She has two more that are loose, but she'll keep them in there as long as possible :). Posted by Holmes Home. Thursday, March 26, 2009. This is Chance with his friend Jayden from church. Posted by Holmes Home. Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Here Chance is showing his "Three-peat" sign for Lance Macky's win. They did a TRUST f...

The Holmes Legacy: July 2009
http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 19, 2009. Yesterday, we celebrated Colton's 5th birthday. We had a party at a place that had a bunch of those blow up trampolines which was a blast! Even the Dads had a good time with the kids playing around. They were also able to get their face painted and have balloon animals/swords as well. It was a really great day. I just can't believe my "Wild Man" is already 5! Posted by Holmes Home. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Food Storage and Emergency Preparedness.

Well, needless to say, it's been awhile since I have updated this blog so I'm going to try to do the best I can to bring everyone up to date on things. We also experienced a first for our family and that was hunting Easter eggs in the snow. No pretty, Sunday best - snowpants. It was a pretty warm day in the scheme of things but I will definitely look forward to the Spring of 2012 when we can at least see the grass :). She's our peacemaker ...

The Holmes Legacy: What a difference a day makes
http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2009/11/what-difference-day-makes.html
Wednesday, November 25, 2009. What a difference a day makes. One day you think you are deploying and 24 hours later you find you have been diagnosed with a 4 cm acoustic neuroma on the left side of your brain that is shifting to the right into your 4th ventricle and brainstem and you will not be deploying after all. I will have to have surgery to have it removed. I am requesting your faith and prayers. PS I am not dead nor am I dying so save the sympathy stuff (no flowers)! Posted by Holmes Home. Subscri...

The Holmes Legacy: Rising Stars
http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2010/02/rising-stars.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Colt and Savannah were among the students honored at Mt. Spurr Elementary this month as being a "Rising Star". They just started back to public school in January, so they were both tickled to be picked. Savannah was honored for her creative writing and her ability to learn new math concepts. Colt was honored for being able to put on his snow gear in less than 5 minutes! Posted by Holmes Home. Way to go Colt and Savannah! March 9, 2010 at 6:29 AM. May 17, 2010 at 7:18 PM.

The Holmes Legacy: Christmas 2009
http://holmeslegacy.blogspot.com/2009/12/christmas-2009.html
Friday, December 25, 2009. We had an amazingly wonderful Christmas this year! We kept it simple, didn't even get out of our pajamas all day, and just enjoyed our time together. We scaled down on gifts to the kids so we could focus all month long on the true meaning of Christmas. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Here's a slide show of the kids with their Christmas gifts. Posted by Holmes Home. December 26, 2009 at 1:28 PM. Love your Christmas pictures! December 26, 2009 at 5:33 PM.
