David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Saturday, February 11, 2012. Sadly, my plans for getting this done on Saturday failed. Yeah, I was. Actually planning on having it done for Saturday so that I could get. It out on Sunday morning for a change, but pesky life keeps getting in. The way. For the most part, this week was really standard and boring. The biggest change from standard protocol was that the kids didn't. Get their homework done on Wednesday, so we missed D&D night again,. Benefit is taken away.

David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Monday, February 20, 2012. Will the world be ready for that? I felt like a date with Ben on Saturday might be fun since Rachel had a birthday party at a local cave that Dave was taking her to and Ben desperately needed. Maybe Ben should just be a musician and yo-yo player. You know, stay-at-home stuff. We hosted a soup night on Sunday for a few friends. It was fun and keeping with my goal to entertain more. I went to the temple last Thursday. Haven't been in...A week ag...

The Newton Gazette: September 2010
http://newtongazette.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Thursday, September 23, 2010. We kicked off summer vacation June 3rd with Dave having the week off. He took us up to Mt. Baldy in the FJ Cruiser for our first family off-roading tour. My favorite moment was after I hopped back in the car after helping Dave navigate a very tight passage and Rachel said, "I know something that starts with S, Mom" What's that Rach? S is for SCARY.". Apparently, she doesn't have an adrenaline addiction developed yet. The boys did a great jo...

David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Saturday, June 18, 2011. Beaches Resort June 4-11, 2011. Oh my How do I do justice to such a great vacation? Let's start with some pictures. The clearest waters and most fish we've ever seen. Rachel is like a fish. She snorkels without fear. Ben gives a thumbs up to Caribbean warm waters. Jake prefers scuba diving, but humors us occasionally by snorkeling. His main job is to keep Mom from drowning. Triple-decker at the pool. Looks like the boys think they won. You know ...

The Newton Gazette: August 2010
http://newtongazette.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Thursday, August 12, 2010. Every good memory should include food. We hit the road by 5am so as to make it to "the Dakotas largest indoor water park" by early afternoon. We made great time and logged over 450 miles by 1pm. The water park was a tad smaller than anticipated but turned out to be the perfect way to shake off the long day of driving. Jake was the master. Ben's back took quite a beating. Dave earns Ben's respect here. Bear Country, USA has more than just bears!

David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. The "Future" is Coming. You know the first time in December when you buy milk and the "use by" date is after Christmas and it gives you a little fright? You think, "That's just around the corner. I better get moving." Well, today I had a frightening moment. I went to make some frozen fish for dinner and the "use by" date said June 10, 2014. It occurred to me that Jake will have graduated from high school by that time! Links to this post.

The Newton Gazette: Weekly Update
http://newtongazette.blogspot.com/2012/01/weekly-update_18.html
David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. I made the banner on my new Silhouette Cameo that I got for Christmas. Perfect timing. So much fun. Rachel's party was the week's big event and took most of my time. Things turned out mostly the way I'd hoped and she had a great time. Monday Archer and I stayed home; he had a total meltdown and I. Couldn't send him into school like that. He wound up getting some. Sleep, and was a lot better afterwards. Tuesday, McGuire stayed home. The day, ...
