Posted by eoghan on November 15th, 2008. The Top 8 Tournament is played annually to determine who will compete for the title of Irish Champion. The tournament takes the form of an eight-player league, with each competitor playing a single match against the others. The top four finishers each year automatically qualify for the following year’s Top 8 tournament with the remaining places filled by the top finishers in the Ladder Tournament. Belfast Boat club is close to the city centre and thus relatively easy to find. There is ample free car parking space beside the venue. The event will be played in the Main Function Room.
