Ollie has been talking more and more and becoming more and more of a little boy. He swings the bat for baseball and even runs pretend bases, just like Daddy (Daddy runs real bases). He loves to run and swing, helps in the garden and the kitchen, gives great hugs, and is a wonderful big brother. Art and I are leaving for NY ...

Foote Notes along the Way. Cathcing Up with Pilgrims. June 24, 2007 in Uncategorized. First, I want to let you know (in response to my last post) that the only thing at this point I have discovered that I needed and didn’t pack is my belt. But then today I found my belt in the very bottom of my bag, so now it’s so far so good. Now I want to talk about catching up with pilgrims. Now I am leaving to catch up with everyone. I am a bit anxious about catching up. I know these pilgrims and they are good people.

Foote Notes along the Way. Another Word from Another Pilgrim. June 28, 2007 in Uncategorized. This is a guest post from fellow pilgrim Dennis Noson. It has a Border collie in it, so I had to post it. Pastor Cath. A message to our brothers and sisters, from the edge, out here on the very edge, the Western Isles of Scotland:. She began: My husband Michael was there too and for our talk today he is supposed to support me in letting you know what we learned. We all turned to see Michael, looking stoic. Newel...

Foote Notes along the Way. June 29, 2007 in Uncategorized. Here is the song the youth wrote for the Wednesday night Talent Show. There are many “inside jokes” you’ll have to ask them about. The show was great! Youth Rap on Iona. Now we’re here on Iona with Roweena, Simon and Fionna. For only one week we are here, we dance the kalie and sing about beer. Let’s go pray to God right now, wait! It’s a highland cow. Every day we eat our soup. Wow, this place is covered in poop. Comments feed for this article.

Foote Notes along the Way. Am I Just Too Excited? June 25, 2007 in Uncategorized. I have arrived in Glasgow and I have to say I am not a very sophisticated traveler. I just can’t stop smiling! Wimp Walk | Pilgrimage to Iona
https://ionablog.wordpress.com/2007/06/27/wimp-walk
Foote Notes along the Way. June 27, 2007 in Uncategorized. Yesterday we took a pilgrimage walk around the island of Iona. I found out later that there were actually two walks- one called on road and the other called off-road. We were on road, which turned out to be the easier walk. I learned all this when we met up with our youth group. They were taking the off road walk, and they were calling ours the wimp walk. At least until their leaders shushed them in deference to our feelings. He journeyed east un...
