UC Vélo Café: October 2008
http://ucvelocafe.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Lights, Lamps, and Shorter Days. As you all know, the days are getting rather short, and I think this week may be the last that super early into work will allow for ride time afterwads. or at least daylight ride time. I am thinking that as long as the roads are dry and temperatures not too unreasonable, a nighttime ride wouldn't be the worst thing. Do any of you have suggestions on lamps, headlight, and lights? I don't want to break the bank. I do want to be safe!

Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Just in case you still don't know, the club is putting on its annual race, the Monsters of the Midway, on Saturday May 17. As always, we will need a ton of volunteers to run the event. I have set up a schedule so that people can sign up for a volunteering slot. I sent an e-mail to the club's list a while ago, inviting you to sign up. You just have to click on the link in that e-mail, and that will take you to a Google Docs document that you can edit.
