http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 17, 2012. There are literally dozens of beer events during the week before Savor and I wish I could attend them all. It really is the best week of the year for DC beer geeks and I'm sure it will only keep getting better. All samples were from 4 oz pours:. Blue Jacket Collad Brews (Opening in DC 2013):. Snack Attack (Funky Buddha and Cigar City). Black Berliner Techno Weiss (Devil's Backbone). Http:/ www.deschutesbrewery.com/. Funky Buddha Brewing, FL. Http:/ www.thefunkybuddha.com/. As alway...

Imperial Josh: Snake River Brewing
http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2012/10/snake-river-brewing.html
Friday, October 12, 2012. If you've been to Jackson Hole Wyoming, you've probably been to Snake River Brewing. If you haven't, you are missing out on one of the finest brewpubs in the country. I really can't say enough positive things about this place. It's pretty much perfect. I find myself craving their beer and wishing I had a place like it nearby with surprising regularity. Http:/ www.snakeriverbrewing.com/. Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park (probably the most beautiful place I've ever been to):.

Imperial Josh: Dieu Du Ciel
http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2013/05/dieu-du-ciel.html
Saturday, May 18, 2013. 29 Avenue Laurier Ouest. Earlier this spring I took a quick trip up to Montreal. Having never been, I was excited to see the sites and eat and drink my way across the city. Dinner at Au Pied De Cochon. Was a blast and Garde Manger. S lobster poutine and bacon wrapped fried oyster deviled eggs were unbelievable. Watching the Habs play in Le Saint-Bock. While drinking their maple bacon beer was incredible. But of all the places I made it to, Dieu Du Ciel. Posted by Josh Furman.

Imperial Josh: Boundary Bay Brewery
http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2013/06/boundary-bay-brewery.html
Monday, June 17, 2013. Bellingham, WA 98225. Located in beautiful Bellingham, WA, Boundary Bay Brewery is simply one of the best brewpubs I've ever visited. The combination of the welcoming and laid-back environment with a killer menu had me coming back for seconds after spending three days camping in British Columbia. Had a really great time meeting up with my cousin here as well. Cannot stress it enough, if you are in the area, this is one place that can't be missed. Posted by Josh Furman.

Sunday, July 7, 2013. Tired Hands Brewing Company. Tired Hands Brewing Company. Ardmore, PA 19003. Beautiful, forward-thinking, and strange beers on tap! Can't really argue with the above line which was printed across the top of the beer menu at Tired Hands. This little brewpub just east of Philadelphia specializes in farmhouse style beers and is doing some pretty creative and original brewing. Posted by Josh Furman. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. Richmond, VA 23220. Richmond is a great city and one of my favorite short trips from DC. I've had a lot of fun exploring the city and its beer scene and eating amazing barbecue at Buz and Ned's. It's one of my all-time favorite barbecue spots and not to be missed if you're in the area. Great place and am eager for my next visit. Posted by Josh Furman. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Hardywood Park Craft Brewery.

Imperial Josh: Saraveza
http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2013/06/saraveza.html
Tuesday, June 25, 2013. 1004 N Killingsworth Street. Portland, OR 97217. This joint is for sure one of the best bottle shops/beer bars I've ever been too. Filled with old school beer decor and coolers of hundreds of craft beers in bottle, Saraveza is heaven for any beer lover visiting Portland. We visited mid-day and luckily the bartender (an extremely friendly dude who knew his brews) suggested the Descender IPA from Good Life Brewing. Posted by Josh Furman. Imperial Josh: July 2013
http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 7, 2013. Believe it or not, I've been to a lot of brewpubs. The other day I was asked by a friend if I ever ranked my top places. I honestly hadn't but thought it'd be fun to give it a try. I haven't been to several beer meccas across this great country (no Denver area or San Diego) so my list is somewhat limited. With that in mind, here are my five favorite brewpubs:. You can't find a better beer tasting experience if you tried. Really no explanation needed, right? 1 Dieu Du Ciel. Vibe: DDC...

Imperial Josh: February 2013
http://imperialjosh.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 9, 2013. 321 West 7th Street. Richmond, VA 23224. Spent a weekend in Richmond, VA last December and had a fine time at Legend Brewing. Sitting just across the James River from downtown, Legend offers great views with great beer. I ordered the sampler and was pleasantly surprised at quality of the seasonal brews. Couldn't leave without getting some Winter Ale and Barley Wine for the road. Fun place, solid beer, great views, lots of swords. Posted by Josh Furman. Seen Through a Glass.
