Thursday, March 18, 2010. While doing my research on the theme 'camouflage' i came across some interesting examples which varied from techno textiles. To the concept of urban camouflage. Also started looking at the different textile techniques i would be interested in incorporating in my project. For my diploma project i decided to take the urban camouflage theme forward and came up with the following proposal-. Client based project proposed to and accepted by Weavers Studio, Calcutta. Textile project based on inspired city spaces that comment or try to grasp the relation and interaction between body and urban space. Based on various social, cultural and political factors. Suggestion of 2 scenarios’ based on a social and cultural situation of multiple identities-. Lead a less superficial life.
