Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Humans are bizarre and at times rather eccentric with their behaviour. Words that they deemed too maudlin, yet truly reflect their innermost emotions, and are never quite spelt out clearly. Subtlety seems to be the main element during good byes but is it the best way to do so? I know not the answer. Friends are all leaving. Gone will be their physical part but will the ethereal, intangible relation part remains. Hope it will. With every passing moment, I retrospect.

I cant say that August brings me only sadness and no happiness. The stayover at Aroon's was fun. We played Bang! A board game we bought for him for his bday) until 5.30am and woke up at 12pm to attend our malay friend's wedding. Stef, Emily and I took 1.5hrs to get ready and Aroon had to wait for us. Haha. I returned to Singapore on 23 July from a 5 days trip to Hangzhou and Shanghai. 4 days were spent in Hangzhou where the choir competition, Orientale Concentus II was held and 1 day was spent shopping in Shanghai. I have to say that although it was the most tiring and emotionally draining 5 days i have ever spent abroad, i had loads of fun with the Wild Empire people. Day 1 (19 July): Shanghai/Hangzhou. The choir (the Vocal Consort) that my choir (Wild Empire) is currently collaborating (smth like that. when we sing with them, we're collectively known as vocal consort) with has 2 performances this week. Yesterday we performed at the Esplanade, a first for me, for the Leong Yoon Pin concert (2 songs). Then on sunday, we'll be guest performing at Victoria Concert Hall (3 songs). Guess what? My brain is rusty.

My dad made a new friend today. a bird, dunno what breed (looks a little like parrot), came (yes, came, not flew because its wings are clipped so it cant fly) into our kitchen today. my dad kindly took the bird in and is treating the bird like his new found friend. When i came home. Dad: there's a bird in our kitchen. Dad: a bird came into our kitchen. while i was washing the cups, i heard a bird sound.
