Uganda’s oldest fair trade craft business run by friend and mentor, Betty Kinene. Lauren spent time working here in 2006 and 2008-2009. Our friend Kate started this fair trade business while we were living in Kampala. Awava works with a number of local artisan groups throughout Uganda to create unique and fun products.
