Beautiful Sunsets with Ugly Foregrounds. Here’s a beautiful shot of the sun setting over the Ocean City inlet and the Assawoman Bay. It’s quite a serene view indeed! In the distance you can vaguely make out Assateague Island, home to the now infamous wild ponies. In the foreground you find a beautifully crafted, wooden handrail crapped on by seagulls and littered with dismantled bivalves — bivalves which were likely torn apart mercilessly by the white, winged monsters. Have a great Sunday!

Beautiful Sunsets with Ugly Foregrounds. A beautiful pattern developed this weekend. Warm day. Stellar sunset. Warm day. Stellar sunset. Yeah, I wouldn’t mind it continuing. ANYWAY…. Tonight, as Groundhog Day drew to a close, I was lucky enough to find myself wallowing under the Rt. 50 Bridge in Ocean City, once again. As I saw the pinks and the blues begin to streak across the sky, I scrambled to find something with a complementary degree of hideousness to quietly disrupt the perfection.
