He was the ugly gray mutt. Who lived in a hole. She was no longer wanted. And had nowhere to go. Er family had moved. And they left her behind. To fend for herself. Which was very unkind. He crawled under the trailer. She once called her home. And dug a big hole. Where she lived all alone. He folks in the trailer park. Gave her some food. Though they had barely enough. To feed their own brood. Omeone gave her a sweater. When the weather turned cold. And she was so very grateful. Even though it was old.
