January 14, 2012. I hacked a rast. I first saw this Ikea hack on Aubrey and Lindsey's blog. And agreed that they would be perfect night tables. I really liked the painted drawers and stained sides and top, so I went with that same style. Here is how mine turned out:. Rast 3 drawer chest, Ikea: $39.99 each. Paint and primer for the drawers - already had this! I used Danish Oil for the top and sides. (It's basically a one step process, which I like.) - already had this too! Grand total: $52 per table!

April 4, 2011. A project 20 years in the making. When my parents bought their house in 1990, this is pretty much what the kitchen looked like:. This past fall it was FINALLY time to update this baby! I think this room is pretty much last one on the old reno list. I don't know. My dad will work on now :). Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Pattern Release and FREE tutorial! Time to dust off the blog to bring you a free tutorial on how to make an Easter bunny from my new mouse pattern! You can purchase my mouse pattern HERE. Start by making the ear. Trace your middle finger to the top of the second knuckle. At the bottom of the ear, taper it in 1/4" on each side. Cut out the ear shape out of felt. Add it to your mouse/bunny head. Top stitch the opening with a small 1/8" allowance. Repeat with other arm hole.
