Dts Memories: The Ecuador girls

Two years as Dts staff is over. Just a small collection of memories to enjoy now and then:) Been there done that for a while. loved it though. We went to Ecuador on outreach together, along with three boys, but before we left we had lika a bonding day with the team. So we went into the woods, and had a campfire on the side of a frozen lake. South Africa on my mind. As a part of the DTS we go on an outrach. It's time to "make God known" to the nation:) on this page you'll be able to read a bit of what is going on. Transkei - The Bush: April 2006

Transkei - The Bush. We went to the Eastern Cape for ten days at Easter time. This is where the Xosa people come from, wich is the peoplegroup we work with the most. An interresting experience. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Our house. a mud house. they cleaned the floore with cow poop every third day. smelled nice and sweet. an experience. View from our house. Townships: Handing out food + the gospel

We are working in Khaylitsha, an informal settlement of 1,6 million people. Most black people fram the Eastern Cape. It's a lot of crime here so you cant stay the nigh, but we are working with good contacts, and we are beeing very careful. It's great to be in the churches there. lots of joy:). We are working in Khaylitsha, an informal settlement of 1,6 million people. Most black people fram the Eastern Cape.
