How to get here. Is an attractive modernised holiday cottage situated in a peaceful setting on the outskirts of Lochmaddy with stunning views of the lochs and the hills, convenient for excellent sandy beaches and recreational pursuits. The house itself sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin room. Bed linen and towels are available on request, at no extra charge, but must be booked in advance. How to get here. How to get here. Lochmaddy is the main ferry terminal for North Uist. There is also a ferry which runs from Oban to Lochboisdale in South Uist. Both car ferries are operated by Caledonian MacBrayne and for reservations call 08705650000 or www.calmac.co.uk. How to get here. The grocery shop, petrol pumps, souvenier and craft shops are situated within a mile of the both properties. The Co-op at Sollas (9 miles) is well stocked and has off licence facilities. The Hebridean Smokehouse offers excellent smoked salmon, scallops, etc and is situated at Clachan (8 miles).
