My darling Hubby (and both wonderful sets of parents) pitched in to get me a new Cannon DSLR camera a few weeks back. I am in love! Here are just a few shots that have been taken the last few weeks. I am really eager to learn more about how to really capture great shots. Maybe a photography class is in my future? Thanks for the great gift! Something I am sure to treasure for years to come.

Instead, the dryer buzzer just sounded and sleet is pelting against my window. I will remember fondly the last morning of our sweet time in Sanibel. This past week I was able to meet up with some friends from nursing school and all our kids. There were 7 women and 16 children! We were able to catch up on each others' lives, have lunch, and go swimming. It was so good to see and catch up with everyone. Last weekend Tim and I took Brandt to the Grand Rapids Festival. By haircut.I really mean a few hairs cut. He doesn't have all that much hair but a few long ones in the back needed some help. Our friends' sister, Erika, came over and did the honors.
