The Academic Performance Index (API) is so difficult for anyone to understand, I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Los Angeles Times piece. On California Department of Education (CDE)’s recent release of the 2012 “Growth” API scores had an error. Teacher unions might be in trouble.
