It Feels Like A Hug. Last night at happy hour my friend Keith looked out at the fog settling in over Santa Monica and said, “It feels like a hug.” He got all sheepish after he said it, like he hadn’t meant to, like it had just slipped out and he was embarrassed, but he was right. Like us on Facebook. With a combination of rhythmic ukuleles, washboard and vocal harmonies, the "Ukulele Dolls" will present songs you had forgotten you ever knew. The Ukulele Dolls is an informal group of music-loving women formed in 2010, whose song list is diverse, ranging from "These Boots are made for Walking" to "Pearly Shells" and "Old Man.". These and other melodic songs of yesteryear are performed at various charity events and fundraisers around the City of Hobsons Bay, Melbourne.
