Random data in R. I took part in the Vätternrundan. And completed the course together with a friend. One of the best bicycle trips I ever made, but tiring. The number of fellow cyclists is amazing, for the entire event you overtake and are overtaken by hundreds of other cyclists. Also, bangers and mash at 7am is interesting as a meal. Random data in R. After leaving school in May 1986. I cycled around Denmark with a friend from school. We set off from Kiel. By ferry to the island of Langeland. Over the years I have done the odd bicycle trip. I used to cycle to school and university in Kiel every day from the age of 13. In the Summer holidays and weekends I used go on longer trips with friends. I have compiled a list and maps of long-distance. In 2000 I took part in the Vaetternrundan. In the following year I bought a Brompton to commute by train into London. But it took until 2009 to revive my long distance cycling with a trip to work. Cycling all the way there and back. That's kept in Kiel.

I started taken pictures when I was in secondary school. My first camera was a Agfamatic. This was followed by a Voigtlaender. Camera. For my confirmation I got a Nikon FM. And later bought a Minox 35. The first digital camera I bought was a Nikon 775. It still exists and is well. This was replaced by a Nikon 5400. Which is a brilliant camera. Kiel – Erlangen 1992. Yesterday’s visit to Bad Schwartau finally gave me the opportunity to visit the location of the original settlement of Lübeck which was later abandoned. You can still see why the location must have been a good for a small settlement, a small hill overlooking the confluence of two rivers. However, there was little room for flood proof extension.
