Drug testing is done the day before the competition. OCB/NANBF/IFPA DRUG TESTING GUIDELINES. Competitors cannot have used any substances indicated as being banned for OCB/NANBF/IFPA competitions during the specified duration periods. Forms of drug testing in addition to the required may be requested of select competitors at any event at the promoter's discretion and expense. RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN NANBF JUDGE. While "ripped" competitors are desirable, "emaciated (anorexic-looking) competitors are not. Lean shape should be accompanied by quality muscularity. Furthermore, bodybuilders should also be judged on their ability to follow directions and act professionally (e.g.: hitting poses when commanded to do so, etc.). His first show as a promoter was held out doors as part of the NOPI Nationals, a motor club enthusiast event for 2 years. His 3rd event was held at the auditorium at Grady High School. Each year his show grew with more contestants and began attracting more attention from the local community.
