And How to Train Your Dragon. Both of these are coming-of-age stories about an "unlikely" friendship between a human and a sauropod (unlikely by the standards of the setting, this kind of stuff happens in fiction all the time). Thursday, January 12, 2006. School has commenced for the semester. Semester four for those of you who are counting; I should be finished in December 2007. This semester involves courses in Records Managment, Appraisal, Collections Managment and Reference for Archives. Thursday, May 18, 2006. I am in so much trouble. There is a movie theatre, about 5 minutes from my new place, that plays lots of great "art house"ish films. I'll be lucky if I come home with any money. I've been to see two so far. On A Clear Day. Both were excellent and I highly recommend them. Careful with. It is a tad violent. Sunday, April 30, 2006. Grandma's Birthday in Combermere. Made the epic trek out to Combermere today with Dolly, Grant and second cousin Ben (9). Ann and Jim also came up. We made it in time for a great pancake breakfast at the legion. Lunch was fabulous. Grandma's buns, ham, homegrown chicken, potato salad and tossed salad. Wacky cake and whip cream for dessert.
