Cops hate the national anthem? Cops hate the national anthem? Jun 28th, 2010 11:45 am. What exactly were the protesters doing that the cops felt the need to attack? Are cops really threatened by people standing around and singing? Or was it the people who sat down with their backs to the line that set the cops off? I will give them small credit for waiting until the anthem was finished.

Dec 6th, 2009 09:55 pm. It's been twenty years since that night. I wish I could say that so much has changed, but it hasn't. There's still a whole lot of woman-hatred out there. 'Still plenty of people finding ways to justify treating women as less than human. The only thing that gives me hope is knowing that there are still plenty more who embrace and live the notion that women are fully human.

Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence, and police said drugs may have been a factor. He was 28. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the Manhattan apartment believed to be his home. The housekeeper who went to let him know the masseuse had arrived found him dead at 3:26 pm.
