A Pool Player's Diary. Random chat about pool. So a couple of years later…. March 31, 2016. I have continued to play and learn more about the art of pool. Playing is still a simple joy in my life, and getting better and playing better is still incredibly fulfilling. I love the game. I achieved a long cherished (2 year) dream, and made it to an APA. 7 in 8 ball. I’m a baby 7, not a badass 7, but 7 nonetheless! I moved house, which means a 45 mile drive to my league venue. BUT! But I still love my bar box!

My level of play certainly justified being an 8 (or less! Rather than a 9. But a funny thing did happen, and one I hope will happen again. Suddenly I felt different. The heat an...
