Running with God: June 2014
http://runningwithgod1.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
God can speak to us in all situations. For me running has become my connection with God. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. The picture doesn't do him justice. He was over one foot long and looked like the meanest snapping turtle I have ever seen. It reminded me of a verse from Galatians 5:7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? As I continued to run I thought about this over and over. Why would I let anything come between me and the Lord? Links to this post.

http://runningwithgod1.blogspot.com/2014/03/god-gives-perseverance.html
God can speak to us in all situations. For me running has become my connection with God. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. This past Satruday I was fortunate to have my long run in Bloomington,IN on the B-Line Trail. The trail starts just north of the center of town and has its first few miles through the heart of. It then runs through some wooded areas for 3 miles until you reach the southern trail head. Most of the trail is paved but there is a two mile section that is a nice dirt path.

God can speak to us in all situations. For me running has become my connection with God. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Running with God in the Great Smokey Mountains. Great run today with the love of my life. We were in the Great Smokey Mountains. We ran the Gatlinburg Trail. Along the way we say a few people in the 27 degree weather. We traveled across this foot bridge that traverses the Little Pigeon River. I have to continue to thank the Lord for my life and the ability to run with him. I didn't see any...

Patient Endurance: December 2011
http://patientendurance.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 5, 2011. Return to Racing - Pine Mountain 40 Mile. My strategy was to split the race into 4 separate 10 mile sections, start slow and build gradually with each 10 mile section. I expected some rough patches, but felt reasonably confident that I could finish and have a mostly enjoyable day in the woods. Fortunately the strategy worked and I was able to increase my pace throughout the run and negative split the course to finish in 7:08:21, good for 6. Verse: Have I not commanded you? Oak M...

Patient Endurance: January 2012
http://patientendurance.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 6, 2012. A Perfect End to the Year. To put it mildly, 2011 was a roller coaster year of running. Despite the highs and lows, the year ended on a very high note with three outings in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina over a two day period. Each outing got better and better. Friday, December 30, 2011. Saturday Morning, December 31, 2011. The views from Brushy Mountain far surpassed any from the summit of Mt. LeConte. Hard to even describe ...Luke ...
