My family is indian. to my mother, me getting married isn’t just a cause for celebration – it’s proof that she did her job as a mother, which is the most important job she’s ever had. to her, it’s validation from her family that her daughter is a worthy, good person. what would mean to her if trans boy was out to my whole family? What would the reprecussions be? Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I have always loved reading quotes – inspirational, romantic, funny, or any other kind! So I thought of adding a new widget to the sidebar in the blog. However, I also want to be able to read the old ones that I have posted. So I will keep adding them to this page. Hope you enjoy reading these the way I do! 8212; Alice Domar. 8212; Stacey Charter. Unvanquished: 1962, NEFA & Sino-Indian Relations - Some Random Thoughts
http://unvanquished.blogspot.com/2012/10/1962-nefa-sino-indian-relations-some.html
1962, NEFA and Sino-Indian Relations - Some Random Thoughts. This year marks the 50th anniversary of India’s ignominious defeat in the Sino-Indian War of 1962. While the mainstream newspapers – as is their wont – are doing stories on the subject (which will again fade away into oblivion after a couple of months), targeted mostly for the lay readers to whom the human dimension appeals more than the cold analysis of the causes of failure, I am more interested in the latter. Who are otherwise inept in any k...

The spaces between us. In celebration of the random- wandering, wondering, wavering, wasting, whining, wishing. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I am bright enough to know i am not that bright. i am cool enough to know i am quite dowdy. i am intellectual enough to know i am psuedo. i wish i knew less. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Yes, but we couldnt do anything about another mandatory ritual- ending the day's proceedings with the national anthem. its logic never even came up for discussion.

The spaces between us. In celebration of the random- wandering, wondering, wavering, wasting, whining, wishing. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. I can't bear the phone ringing. It interrupts my nothingness. I have nothing to say. No news, no gossip, no bitching. I don't want to run down the world. Say my life is in shambles. Though it very well may be. Of saying the same things. Over and over again. Of hearing my own voice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. As life is being lived.

Love in the margins. April 9, 2010 @ 1:03 am. 183; { Uncategorized. So, last night, (super evil-fighting) trans man met brown grrrl’s dad. over dinner. at a restaurant. In short, he’s fucking weird. When asking trans man how it went, he says, “uhhhm…”. My mom was also there, which you’d think would make it slightly better, except she kept talking about wedding details. indian wedding details. such as, “oh! You know what else is great? That i’m marrying him for a reason: he’s fucking awesome! But i guess ...

Love in the margins. First post – trans boy. April 11, 2010 @ 4:03 pm. 183; { Uncategorized. I have to admit sometimes this all seems so surreal, but so good and so right. I love brown grllll so deeply and we we fit in every way. I have never felt more comfortable or more nurtured or felt so much room for my continued growth. I never thought I would get married and I certainly NEVER thought it would be a three day affair with over 300 guests! I love how warm and welcoming her mom has been towards me.
