Tuesday, April 14, 2009. April 9th was Jeremy's 7th birthday! He's growing up so fast. His big present this year was a Nintento DS Lite with a Wall-E game. Grandma and Grandad gave him tickets to Dutch Wonderland this summer. Brendan made a Wall-E cake. Brendan has recently joined the Christiana Care soccer team. He finally has the schedule that allows him to participate. Their first game was April 5. They haven't won a game yet, but it's been fun for Brendan to get out there. Thursday, April 9, 2009.

Monday, November 1, 2010. We celebrated Halloween this year several times. The first was a trip to the Philadelphia Zoo for "Boo at the Zoo." The kids got to dress up and trick or treat around the zoo. It was a beautiful fall day - no need for coats. Even the lego penguins got to wear costumes! Wednesday, September 1, 2010. All of our planned summer activities and camps were all over by the last three weeks of August. So we spent several days here and there at my parents house while they were in California for 6 weeks. Kind of like several mini-vacations. We also took the kids roller skating - first time for Jason. We had a blast! We also took another trip up to Lancaster to go to Dutch Wonderland Mini-Golf, since we couldn't fit that in to our day at Dutch Wonderland in July.

Lundi 1 décembre 2014. La célèbre tarte au potiron! 215 g de farine. 1/4 cc de sel. 75 g de sucre glace. 110 g de beurre. Mélanger tous les ingrédients, former une boule et la laisser reposer au réfrigérateur au moins 1h. 400g de purée de potiron. 150 ml de crème fraîche épaisse. 70 g de sucre roux. 1/4 cc de cannelle. 1/4 cc de noix de muscade moulue. 1 p de sel. 1 cc de fleur d'oranger. 75 ml de sirop de sucre de canne. Faire cuire le potiron à la vapeur. Sortir la pâte du four, y verser la préparation.
