Sunday, April 12, 2015. I was going to show you another calligraphic drawing I made, but then last night (my Sabbath) I played with polymer clay and ended up with these cute little houses. I had planned to play with clay in my craft room, but the evening sun was shining so nicely into my kitchen, so I set up a TV tray in the sun. Technically, it is called a Quietscheentchen (a German word meaning, when translated straight across, "little squeaky duck"). It has the name "Ammaka" on it to show that this specific quietscheentchen is named "Ammaka". Friday, April 10, 2015. Chicken and Tree (Minecraft). I was planting some wheat in Minecraft, and a silly chicken got in the way, and now it's following me everywhere. It even got stuck in the door, poor thing, so I had to let it into my house. It doesn't seem to like climbing ladders, though. When I climbed down the ladder to my lower level, it stayed at the top and waited for me, and when I came back up, it startled me. I'm like, "Oh, hi, funny chicken.". One of my favourite artists has opened up her own flower shop called The Tenth Meadow. So The Tenth Meadow is a pleasure to visit and I took these photographs and bought a fluffy leafed and petaled plant called a Brazilian Edelweisse, which I painted later on in the studio, and my first day in two years without children or scheduled work was pretty much perfecto.
