Emily & Scott’s Grand Isle Lake House Wedding. Emily and Scott live in Colorado now, but Emily has roots in Vermont, so they came back to celebrate their marriage on Lake Champlain. I photographed the sunset cruise rehearsal dinner on the Spirit of Ethan Allen III. From Burlington as well as the wedding day out at the Grand Isle Lake House. Emily wore a vintage family wedding dress and then changed into a more casual dress and flower crown for the reception. Flowers by Floral Artistry by Allison Ellis.

Friday, January 27, 2012. One Week only - I'll be there Monday. Monday, January 23, 2012. A quilt and a question. Gosh this picture is blurry but you get the idea - quilt top finished and ready for quilting. The geometry is a good exercise for me, it pulls me in and makes me practice precision, not an easy thing for me. Marion turns eleven this week and has asked for a pair of Dr. Marten boots (purple no less) - I am umming and arrring - don't know why exactly. Are Dr.M too old for a tween?

Sunday, August 11, 2013. We moved finally. It was June and everything happened at once, the end of the school year, farmers market, graduation time but we made it. Loki found that he liked it better outside than in. He has been outside ever since. Very cute. And then we went to Maine for a blissful family vacation. Here's my favorite corn bread recipe:. 1 cup Pamela's Baking and Pancake Mix. 1 cup yellow cornmeal. 2 teaspoons baking powder. 188; cup honey or agave nectar. 1 cup almond milk. 188; cup butter or shortening. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, combine Baking Mix, cornmeal, and baking powder. In a 2nd bowl mix honey, milk, eggs, butter.

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Charlie started piano lessons last September and has been at it ever since. Thursday, January 2, 2014. A Happy New Year to you all. We are snowed in again today. I have learned to enjoy the feeling of being completely stuck in one place. We have wood, milk and tea. Charlie is singing classical tunes as he sets up an epic Lego star wars battle on the still extended dining room table. The bakery has a sandwich maker now after a no call no show.
