Monday, February 4, 2013. A few people know that back in December, right before Christmas, Ruston and I bought a "house". Since then, a lot of people have been asking what our house looks like. So her she is in her opening debut. Gorgeous, no? This is the front elevation above, and the side elevation below. The backyard looking up to the house. This is the family room that comes off of the kitchen. This is where the kitchen will be. The backyard taken from the house. Holy cow, Wow!

It's the little things. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Labels: 40 days of thanks. Wednesday, November 23, 2011. So why does this kick off the 40 days of thanks? I am fine. Unscratched. My car as minimal damage. This was nothing short of a Thanksgiving miracle. I am grateful for the hand that guided me safely through that spin. It was a blind curve on a two lane road, so at any time during the event a car coming the other direction could have plowed into me without warning for either of us. 40 Days of Thanks.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Read next to the window. Camp out by the fire. And knock ice off your tree before the ice breaks all the limbs or worse, pulls it out of the ground. Every tree in the area lost something, and several were completely uprooted. In the end we were able to save this tree, but we had to pull it back into place with our truck and then tie it to a couple of poles until the roots grow back. Sounds freezing yet everything looked so beautiful! Give your kids big hugs from me.

Sunday, April 22, 2012. So this is my new hobby. Just by chance I went to an hour long class on balloon twisting, and viola. I have to admit that my skills are pretty beginner, but it's amazing what a beginner can do! I can make a helicopter, bunny, fish on a fishing pole, monkey in a tree, teddy bear, three different swords, flowers, and an astronaut that will hopefully evolve to more of a superman/batman. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Abigail's (6 weeks old) Photo Shoot. So I haven't blogged for quite some time. So this is a perfect way to come back. Miss Abigail has started to smile and it just melts ya' every time! She is 6 weeks old already! I have been wanting to take some baby pictures, but baby acne has not been friendly to her. Hopefully this is not an indicator of her teenage years. Angela was great positioning her and editing the photos. I am trilled with the results! Here are a few of my favorites:.

Saturday, April 18, 2009. Animals at the Zoobilee. We got an unique experience to go see the zoo at night. Once a year the Dallas Zoo reopens at 6pm for a spring animal-style festival, of course. It had been raining all day, but it cleared out for us to make the drive. It was fun to do the carnival games, get Zachary's face painted and to ride the carousel a few times!
