April 26, 2012. A photo by kehkat. On this day, way back in 1974, a gorgeous redheaded young girl married a smart young man in a sailor suit. They were my parents, Monica and Michael. We kids jokingly call their marriage arranged, as both our grandmothers worked together at the time. My Nana had a son in the Navy looking for a pen pal and my Grandma had a daughter about the same age who could write to him. The rest as they say, is history. So 38 years, 4 kids and 2 grandkids later, they are still together.
