Monday, May 23, 2011. Surgery was a success and my little girl is breathing thru her nose! I never dreamed I could get so teary eyed seeing my baby close her mouth and keep breathing! Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Going Against My Mommy Instincts. I've been discouraged from going to the NICU to see my baby. And I think it's the right thing. But I hate it. I've already missed too much! Friday, July 8, 2011. After 8 weeks and 2 days, she is finally home where she belongs. This is definitely a difficult transition with all the care she requires, but she's very much worth it.
