Join Friends of Letort. Over the years, restoration efforts have continued to stabilize the run’s channels. Stream banks have been planted and seeded in grass, and sections of stone retaining wall have been repaired. Volunteer groups under the auspices of the authority did most of this work. Sinkholes are a perennial problem and require filling to prevent the stream from draining into underground aquifers. What can you do to help?
