Adventures of a Flibbertigibbet: September 2008
http://adventuresofaflibbertigibbet.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Adventures of a Flibbertigibbet. Flibbertigibbet: a silly, flighty, excessively talkative person, especially a pert young woman with such qualities. Thursday, September 11, 2008. I don't really follow celebrity gossip or pay much attention to what is going on in the lives of stars. My own life is much more interesting to me, which is how I think it should be, and I have much better things to do with my time. Um talk about a backhanded compliment! Amy/Stick to Your Knittin' Kitten. So, this probably isn't...

Save the planet! Knit!: Is summer back?
http://savetheplanknit.blogspot.com/2009/11/is-summer-back.html
Sara knits, spins and weaves her way through it all. Sunday, November 8, 2009. We had another amazing day. The weather was perfect, we hung Christmas lights, raked leaves and have everything all in order outside for winter (even though it feels so far away when it's t-shirt weather). This is another of my favorite pictures from yesterday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knit, spin, weave. repeat. I am convinced knitting and knitters make the world a better place. Save the planet! Knit!: Starry Beret

Sara knits, spins and weaves her way through it all. Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Started the Opus Spicatum. Last night and finished tonight. Love the hat. But I knit too loose and it turned out really huge. Threw it in the dryer for awhile and may have saved it enough to be wearable. We'll see when it's dry. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Little Bit of Knit: May 2008
http://ayenforyarn.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
A Little Bit of Knit. Friday, May 30, 2008. It's been almost a month. That is the longest I have gone without blogging. I guess I unintentionally took a break. I am finally catching up here. My committee responsibilities are almost finished, graduation is over and things are getting easier. My daughter's open house is next week followed by her Spanish class trip to Mexico and then it's summertime fun! I'm ashamed to admit, I am too chicken to try it on. Silly.). Now I am happily spinning away on some mor...

Adventures of a Flibbertigibbet. Flibbertigibbet: a silly, flighty, excessively talkative person, especially a pert young woman with such qualities. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Art Yarns and Other Things. I realized that I haven't posted on here in quite some time. This spring has been very busy with shows and custom orders plus a baby blanket I made as a shower gift for Kiwi. Looking Out the Fishbowl. Since I've been super happy with some of my (relatively) recent art yarns, I thought I'd post some pictures.

Adventures of a Flibbertigibbet. Flibbertigibbet: a silly, flighty, excessively talkative person, especially a pert young woman with such qualities. Friday, December 5, 2008. For some reason, I'm not really sure WHAT reason, I have been in the Christmas spirit much earlier than usual this year. I usually put my tree up about 2 weeks before Christmas and take it down New Year's Day. But this year I put my tree up the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Hopefully I won't be sick of it by Christmas. Which I plan to ...

Adventures of a Flibbertigibbet: Cowl Craze
http://adventuresofaflibbertigibbet.blogspot.com/2008/12/cowl-craze.html
Adventures of a Flibbertigibbet. Flibbertigibbet: a silly, flighty, excessively talkative person, especially a pert young woman with such qualities. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. So now I come to the dilemma.do I bow to the trend and make some of these cowls, even though I don't like them, since they seem to be pretty popular and I'd probably have a good chance of selling some? Or do I buck the trend and continue to only make things I like, things I'd actually wear myself, even if they may not sell as well?
