On September 22, 2010 · 5 Comments. We live on one block from the Peoples’s Park and from Tianjin’s main roads where there are places to shop, eat, and bank. On October 4, 2010 · 2 Comments. On Wednesday, September 29th, China 10 students traveled to Tokyo, for a much needed vacation. We have worked really hard for 2.5 weeks in Tianjin —– JOKE! We did get some work accomplished with our Chinese students. The American’s had to step up the work last week so the Chinese students could take over while we were away. Taxi after taxi after taxi just waiting for work. They were fighting over us! You can catch cars being passed on the highway by the blink of an eye!

On September 25, 2010 · 6 Comments. This is how you order food. You point and wish for something good! This is what you get… FISH balls (not literally, but geometrically! And LIVER. Probably the worst meal I’ve had. After figuring out the menu by trying new things, we found this place to be our local favorite. It’s right across the street from my apartment. I’ve been there 5 times in the last 8 days! A 22 oz beer cost 4 Yuan or $.66! Let’s just say I’ll be coming here on the regular! Thats what i do!
