Walnut Grove and Laura Ingalls Wilder. August 10, 2015. We stopped at Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum in Walnut Grove on our way across Minnesota. We parked the camper on the street and walked across to the museum and bought the tickets. The museum was made up of several different buildings having to do with prairie life. We visited the Depot first. Inside there were several displays including Laura’s quilts and TV show memorabilia. Books take me places. Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum. On the Banks of Pulm Creek.

Sunday, June 14, 2015. Things can get challenging on travel days. As it is we have our very own caravan that consists of our camper and my moms. Frank drives one vehicle and I drive the other. Throw in gas stops and a half dozen kids and then fill propane tanks and you have a recipe for an hour and 20 minute gas stop. Only 10 minutes after we left the campground. We are taking a few days to make the interior of our tiny house a bit more homey. so we repurposed a king size mattress and snagged the foam out of it for a new to us couch. made with fabric I bought and tucked away about 2 years ago. In the front of the chapel there was a row of tiny seats. There were stained glass windows too. Then we continued down the walkway to Grandma’s house.
