I received a phone call from a friend at my former employer suggesting that I look at my stock options since they expire in 2 days. It turns out that that phone call will be worth $15-20K to us. Thursday, July 8, 2010. The day following our adventure to Mount Vernon we decided to try one more historical landmark. This time we travel 2 hours from our gracious host's home to Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson our 3rd President. Monticello was build on a hill and means beautiful hill. Touring Monticello had a very different feeling than Mount Vernon. While Mount Vernon was spread wide, Monticello climbs to the sky. They also had wooden blocks that we all enjoyed building our own Monticello.

Thursday, February 11, 2010. Kept hearing that this Snow Storm was coming and we waited and waited and then it came. It was beautiful! The biggest snow flakes that I have ever seen drifted pass our 6th floor window. Many of then were as big as cotton balls.amazing! I don't know who had more fun watching it me or the kids. But when I heard that a new Lego store was opening at Rockefeller Center, we had to go.
