Sunday, 13 March 2011. OK, I can understand that for some people they don't, and they didn't for me for a long time, but apparently there are more people out there liking them than one might think. Unravel the Web: Have You Been Hit by a Buzz?

http://www.unraveltheweb.blogspot.com/2010/02/have-you-been-hit-by-buzz.html

Saturday, 13 February 2010. Have You Been Hit by a Buzz? Chances are you keep in touch with your friends via Facebook. And you may even release the occasional tweet on Twitter. You probably use a free e-mail service offered by the likes of Yahoo. Microsoft’s Windows Live. And if you are really hip (or a teenager) you use all of this on the go on your smartphone. Now Google has announced Buzz. If they do, you can see where they are and what they are up to, but so can everyone else. Like Facebook, Buzz all...

Unravel the Web: How-2: Follow the Blogs with RSS

http://www.unraveltheweb.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-2-follow-blogs-with-rss_31.html

Sunday, 31 October 2010. How-2: Follow the Blogs with RSS. Well, I figured that not everybody would know how to keep up with the updates on the new blogs. Although the old IL was a bit stiff, there was a weekly rhythm to it, whereas now there might be the appearance of things being a bit all over the place. Let's see if we can remedy that. They are following so many sites they would be lost without help. Now I eventually got round to investigating RSS feeds. Every ILP blog has two 'Subscribe' buttons.

Unravel the Web: About UTW

http://www.unraveltheweb.blogspot.com/p/about-utw.html

Well, 'Unravel the Web' has been hijacked for the Incredible Ladies Project entirely now, and since wifey is diving deeper and deeper into the Internet world a lot of the articles are written by her. The Internet world and of course the world of computing in general is so fast lived, that some of the pamphlets in this place may become outdated faster than we can write new ones. We are happy for you to contribute! Please leave a comment and we will pick up on it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Bloody Hell...what did I do now?: The Team is Growing

http://rikas-challenges.blogspot.com/2012/03/team-is-growing.html

Tuesday, 6 March 2012. The Team is Growing. Our unusual training team to support Kash in his running training for Marathon has increased to four now. Karren is doing the milage on an ergometer and Mai wants to improve her English and will read the number of pages of which we do miles. The Kash' has the guts to go out in the rain at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night - so I will surely be able to row a bit while sitting in the warmth of my house. So, YES - Things are good! Have a look at the score board.

ILP - Health & Beauty: Iron Ladies

http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/02/iron-ladies.html

About Health and Beauty. Wednesday, 9 February 2011. First published in 2009. There is a difference between being tired and fatigue. Everybody is getting tired at the end of the day, and once in a while we still are in the mornings after a too short night of sleep. We may feel like an afternoon nap, or a lie in – that’s all rather normal. I need a pill! Oh, what a bad combination: Wanting nothing more than hanging around and eating. So why on earth do we lose iron? When things go wrong. The iron lives in...

ILP - Health & Beauty: December 2010

http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

About Health and Beauty. Monday, 20 December 2010. I don't know if this word exists, but I think it should. I mean this type of cold where the head feels heavy and like a pressure cooker between the eyes, one is really really tired and the nose is running although it is blocked. It starts with a bit of sneezing and feeling knackered and then things go very quickly until one feels like hit by a train. There is one rough rule of thumb, though: First symptoms are usually caused by virus. This article is not...

ILP - Health & Beauty: Seasonal Nuisances

http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/01/seasonal-nuisances.html

About Health and Beauty. Monday, 3 January 2011. First published in 2008. I’m writing this because: Please, please, please! Don’t fall into those advert traps. I’m going to make it as vivid as possible to remind you that these people want to sell something; they are not the least bit interested into your wellbeing! Of course we know it! But, could be working, couldn’t it? Might be … would be so wonderful if it would…. There is a lot of black magic around these measurements, I can’t even list where ...

ILP - Health & Beauty: November 2010

http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

About Health and Beauty. Thursday, 25 November 2010. From Strength to Freedom. So I saw this cute boy at the beach. The haircut hilarious – his dad’s homemade scissor craft almost spoiled his chances – but that rear and these shoulders, …ahhh, and he was so young. How could I ever think that he would be interested? Mirrors, windows, glass doors – staring at my image whenever possible, then getting depressed, like a self fulfilling prophecy. I could have saved me the depressions, the back pains, the lack ...

About Health and Beauty. Thursday, 5 May 2011. Cool Dude' clothes for the elderly. Now it turns out that men have the same problem. This half decade between 45 and 50 seems to be a crucial period which determines future style and hubby was determined to not give in to a future with a belt line lies above the bellybutton, pyjama striped shirts, and pink polo shirts for the adventurous days. There is a Zara for guys. And the catalog for shirts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). All sorts of How-2-ILP.

Sunday, 12 February 2012. 2012 Fuerteventura Travel Report. Here I am again, my fourth year of Fuerteventura. After having skipped last years trip due to the Sumatra visit, I have re-organised my travel budgets a bit. One just does need it all: a girly week with mum in the sunshine during winter, and getting grounded in Tangkahan a bit later in the year. German site) and feeling the urge to give an update. Not that a lot has changed; my accounts from 2008. I was so glad to hear that they receive quite a ...

Favourite Books of 2016! December 31, 2016. Best books of 2016. Favourite books of 2016. So before this year ends, I would like to share my pile of good books this 2016. It’s been a rough year for me and my family but the books below did not let me down. 🙌🏽🎉. Photo by Cerize Sicat. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Absolutely hate myself that I just read this this year. So freaking great! Lord Arthur Saville’s Crime by Oscar Wilde. Again, brilliant story by Wilde). Creepy, really awesome).

Thursday, December 19, 2013. 2013 in 12 photos. March: Ohh March was a pretty big month! I turned 21, and went to York on a little holiday (as I do). Field trips included Escomb Anglo-Saxon church and a Roman fort. There was a lot of battling with geoplot for a surveying assignment. And the biggest thing in March was that I went to Malta for a week! Easter holidays started, and there was an archaeology trip to Malta.so I went! Also, Jim and I crocheted 20 swans and it was quite the ordeal. I carpooled wi...

No matter where I go, here I am. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. The Russians are coming. Now I don't know the details of these photos, I just found them on our shared drive down here. But they are Russian and they are doing some sort of traverse that past the South Pole. If you recall my post from November 14, 2009 called South Pole Traverse. Now look below and see how the Russians traverse the continent. Again, I don't know the details, but it's quite obvious: these guys are hardcore! It becomes quite norm...
