Bloody Hell...what did I do now?: The Team is Growing
http://rikas-challenges.blogspot.com/2012/03/team-is-growing.html
Tuesday, 6 March 2012. The Team is Growing. Our unusual training team to support Kash in his running training for Marathon has increased to four now. Karren is doing the milage on an ergometer and Mai wants to improve her English and will read the number of pages of which we do miles. The Kash' has the guts to go out in the rain at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night - so I will surely be able to row a bit while sitting in the warmth of my house. So, YES - Things are good! Have a look at the score board.

http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/02/iron-ladies.html
About Health and Beauty. Wednesday, 9 February 2011. First published in 2009. There is a difference between being tired and fatigue. Everybody is getting tired at the end of the day, and once in a while we still are in the mornings after a too short night of sleep. We may feel like an afternoon nap, or a lie in – that’s all rather normal. I need a pill! Oh, what a bad combination: Wanting nothing more than hanging around and eating. So why on earth do we lose iron? When things go wrong. The iron lives in...

ILP - Health & Beauty: December 2010
http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
About Health and Beauty. Monday, 20 December 2010. I don't know if this word exists, but I think it should. I mean this type of cold where the head feels heavy and like a pressure cooker between the eyes, one is really really tired and the nose is running although it is blocked. It starts with a bit of sneezing and feeling knackered and then things go very quickly until one feels like hit by a train. There is one rough rule of thumb, though: First symptoms are usually caused by virus. This article is not...

ILP - Health & Beauty: Seasonal Nuisances
http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2011/01/seasonal-nuisances.html
About Health and Beauty. Monday, 3 January 2011. First published in 2008. I’m writing this because: Please, please, please! Don’t fall into those advert traps. I’m going to make it as vivid as possible to remind you that these people want to sell something; they are not the least bit interested into your wellbeing! Of course we know it! But, could be working, couldn’t it? Might be … would be so wonderful if it would…. There is a lot of black magic around these measurements, I can’t even list where ...

ILP - Health & Beauty: November 2010
http://ilp-healthandbeauty.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
About Health and Beauty. Thursday, 25 November 2010. From Strength to Freedom. So I saw this cute boy at the beach. The haircut hilarious – his dad’s homemade scissor craft almost spoiled his chances – but that rear and these shoulders, …ahhh, and he was so young. How could I ever think that he would be interested? Mirrors, windows, glass doors – staring at my image whenever possible, then getting depressed, like a self fulfilling prophecy. I could have saved me the depressions, the back pains, the lack ...

ILP - Travels: February 2012
http://ilp-travels.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, 12 February 2012. 2012 Fuerteventura Travel Report. Here I am again, my fourth year of Fuerteventura. After having skipped last years trip due to the Sumatra visit, I have re-organised my travel budgets a bit. One just does need it all: a girly week with mum in the sunshine during winter, and getting grounded in Tangkahan a bit later in the year. German site) and feeling the urge to give an update. Not that a lot has changed; my accounts from 2008. I was so glad to hear that they receive quite a ...
